Compatibility first
We patch narrowly and document what we touch, so other authors can work around us.
Who we are
We host modded game servers and build the mods that run on them, with one stubborn conviction: a mod that breaks someone else's mod is not finished.
The short version
Storm Veil Gaming started the way most mod projects do — one server, one annoyance, one fix. What kept it going was the part that came next: every fix we shipped had to survive contact with everyone else's mod list.
That is why the Storm Veil Framework exists. Rather than each mod patching the same systems in its own way, they all build on one shared foundation with documented seams. Our mods use it. Yours can too.
Everything we release is free, actively maintained, and shaped by what server admins and modders actually report back to us.
What we hold to
These are not marketing lines. They are the checks a mod has to pass before it leaves our hands.
We patch narrowly and document what we touch, so other authors can work around us.
If you want to change our behaviour, you should not have to fork us to do it.
By the community, for the community. Reports and pull requests get real answers.
Servers pay for our mistakes in tick time. Performance regressions are bugs.
Get involved
The most useful thing you can send us is a detailed bug report from a real server. The second most useful is a compatibility note — if one of our mods steps on something you maintain, we want to know before your users do.
United by the storm
Take the collection for a run on your server. It costs nothing but a restart.
